  11.      Q.   I want to be able to drop to DOS remotely, but TriBBS doesn't
  12.           seem to support this feature.  Can I remotely drop to DOS with
  13.           TriBBS?
  14.  
  15.      A.   Because of TriBBS's ability to add commands to the Sysop menu,
  16.           there really isn't any need to put a drop to DOS function
  17.           directly into the BBS software.  If this is a feature you can't
  18.           live without, setup either REMDoor or Doorway (both are available
  19.           for download off of The Lobster Buoy) as a command off of the
  20.           Sysop menu.  Both will allow you to perform just about any DOS
  21.           command line task.

  24.      Q.   I'd like to be able to setup a DOS program, such as a database,
  25.           as a door.  Can this be done?
  26.  
  27.      A.   A true door program either has it's own communication routines
  28.           written into it or uses a FOSSIL driver (a device driver that
  29.           provides communication routines to programs) to communicate with
  30.           the remote computer.  Unfortunately, the average DOS program
  31.           doesn't have the ability to communicate through the serial port. 
  32.           However, the program Doorway (available for download off of The
  33.           Lobster Buoy) will allow you to run just about any DOS program as
  34.           a door.

  37.      Q.   I marked a user's record for deletion but it's still in the user
  38.           file?
  39.  
  40.      A.   For efficiency reasons, a user's record will not be physically
  41.           deleted from the user file until you actually pack the user file. 
  42.           By marking a user's record for deletion you are telling TriBBS to
  43.           delete the record the next time the user file is packed.

  46.      Q.   I want to run TriBBS under Windows but all I get is a blank
  47.           screen with the cursor in the upper left hand corner?

  49.      A.   Windows has a strange quirk in it that requires you to load
  50.           SHARE.EXE into memory even if you don't plan on running a
  51.           multinode system.

  54.      Q.   I have a custom bulletin or door bulletin menu and whenever a
  55.           caller tries to display a bulletin TriBBS tells him that it's an
  56.           invalid bulletin number.  What's wrong?
